Congratulations again on your upcoming wedding day! We are truly honored that you have chosen us to provide live music for your wedding.

In order to reserve live music for your wedding date, please complete the contract below. Additionally a 50% deposit (found here) is due at the time of services. The music template (found here) is not due until one month prior to the wedding ceremony, although earlier is preferred.

Once we receive your contract and deposit, we will send a confirmation email with a copy of the contract for your records.

After Lowcountry Pianist & Company receives the contract and deposit, specific musician(s) will be reserved. We will contact you within 2 weeks to let you know which team members will be providing services for your wedding.

* If booking baby grand shell as a solo artist, a second set of hands is needed for 5-10 minutes at set-up and tear-down. If applicable, who can assist and what is their contact number? *

How close to the ceremony site can musicians unload their equipment? Are there any stairs to naviate? If so, how many? *

If there is not a shaded part of the venue site, an umbrella, canopy, or tent must be provided by the client. (Some musicians' wooden instruments or electronic equipment can be damaged by prolonged sun exposure). Initial: *

If booking ceremony audio, do you need only a lapel microphone, only a handheld microphone, or both? *

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of total is due at the time of booking in order to reserve your wedding date. The remaining balance (50% of total) is due 1 week prior to the event (e,g. if the wedding is on Saturday, the remaining balance is due by midnight the Saturday prior). An additional $20 / per late day will be added to total amount due. If desired, the client may choose to pay the entire payment up front. Initial: *

Unless previously discussed, all music selections must be chosen from the designated musician(s) set list. To note, if there is a special song you'd like to include, please ask and we can usually add it for a small fee to cover the cost of sheet music + additional rehearsal time. Initial: *

If the performance is outdoors, the client shall provide suitable protections for the musician(s) and their equipment or make arrangements for an alternative indoor location in the event of inclement weather. If no alternative indoor location is utilized, the musician shall have sole control over the performance and whether the performance would be hazardous to instruments / equipment. If the musician is unable to perform due to weather conditions and/or the client is unable or unwilling to use an alternative indoor location, the music fee will remain non-refundable. Initial: *

In the event of a delay in the start of the ceremony, the musician will make every effort to complete the engagement. In the event the musician is unable to complete the engagement due to a significant delay, no refund will be made to the client. For ceremonies that begin late or cocktail hours that exceed 60 minutes, an additional charge of $200/HR (pro-rated as needed) for each musician will be invoiced to the client to cover the musicians' extra performance time. This agreement may be adjusted due to sickness, accidents, acts of God, inclement weather, or any other conditions beyond the control of Holly Slice or of the musicians scheduled to perform. In emergencies, Holly Slice will be at liberty to replace musicians previously scheduled with another competent musician, providing high-quality services to the client. In the unlikely event Holly Slice is unable to secure a replacement, the client shall receive a full refund. Initial: *

In the event the client postpones this contract for any reason, it is agreed that Lowcountry Pianist & Company LLC will retain all monies on deposit, and the wedding will be rescheduled to a mutually agreed upon date within 12 months of the originally scheduled date. Additionally, the client will be responsible for a $50 rescheduling fee. Initial: *

The client agrees that in all circumstances, Holly Slice and all Lowcountry Pianist & Co. LLC musician’s personal and professional liability shall be exclusively limited to an amount equal to the payment received and that they shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential damages. Additionally, the client agrees that all legal responsibility and liability for guests and the event venue are theirs to bear. Holly Slice and Lowcountry Pianist & Co. LLC musicians shall not be held liable for incidents of any kind that occur in association with the event contracted herein. Holly Slice and Lowcountry Pianist & Co. LLC musicians will be legally responsible for their own personal safety regarding their own actions and equipment but not the actions or equipment of others including but not exclusive to venue and other vendors at the event. The client shall not alter date, time frame, or location of engagement without consulting Lowcountry Pianist & Co. LLC prior to the change. Any such change nullifies this agreement and will result in forfeiture of deposit if a Lowcountry Pianist & Co. LLC musician is unavailable due to the change. Initial: *
