Olivia grew up in Charlotte, NC where she started playing viola at age 11. She always knew that she wanted to play a stringed instrument after growing up hearing stories about her grandfather's talent for fiddling. After a string quartet came to play for her school and she heard a viola for the first time, she knew she had found her calling.
After playing viola through both middle and high school, Olivia went on to study Music Education at the University of South Carolina where she performed with the USC Symphony and various campus chamber groups. Olivia has performed with Michael Bublé and she currently plays with North Charleston Pops, Summerville Orchestra, and Long Bay Symphony in Myrtle Beach.
