Lin started piano lessons at 5 years old after trying to copy her older brother when he practiced. He had no interest in music but Lin discovered a lifelong passion. She began studying organ at 13 and studied both piano and organ throughout high school and college. Lin has a Bachelor of Music degree from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, and a Master of Music degree from Southwestern Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. Lin has been teaching piano in a private studio for over 20 years and loves sharing with students of all ages the joy that music can bring to their lives. She is also the organist and children’s choir coordinator at Summerville Baptist Church. |
As a staff accompanist and adjunct instructor at Charleston Southern University, Lin accompanies Singing Buccaneers, teaches group piano, teaches piano and organ and accompanies voice students. Music is a big part of Lin’s life and she feels blessed to be able to share it with others.
