- Joshua -
Cellist & Pianist
Joshua resides in Myrtle Beach, SC and has over two decades of performing experience. With a solid background in piano, he quickly adapted to the cello. Comfortable as a soloist, in a chamber group, and with an orchestra Joshua enjoys the art of making music. He graduated with an Artist's Diploma from the SC Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities, a rigorous performing arts high school.
His studies led him to Furman University where he gained a Bachelor's of Music degree in Violoncello Performance. While there he learned well-rounded knowledge of the musical world including performing, teaching, and business. Knowing he needed to stay competitive he pursued a Master's of Science degree in Arts Administration from Shenandoah Conservatory. With a background in both performance and administration Joshua prides himself on providing his clients with excellent musicianship and professionalism. He currently serves all over the Carolinas. Joshua is currently the instrumental staff accompanist at Coastal Carolina University, Music Director of St. Michael Catholic Church, and President of the planning committee for Grand Strand Charter Arts High School. He also teaches cello and piano at his home in Myrtle Beach in the hope that students will learn to love performing as much as him. |
