Bill is a guitarist from Torrance, CA. Bill first started playing music as a child, playing many instruments at home and at school, but ultimately fell in love with the guitar at a young age. Growing up he has exposure to many genres; therefore, Bill’s musical tastes are wide ranging, from classical to country, however, blues, pop and rock are his favorites.
Specializing in fingerstyle arrangements of popular songs from the 60’s through to today, Bill is able to incorporate the familiar melodies we all know and love into a fresh and different expression. Bill has played with several local bands in and around Charleston, and often teams up with his musical partner Delia Chariker in their duo “Two Piece”. Bill teaches guitar in his home studio but also volunteers as a guitar teacher with Guitars4Vets, helping Veterans with PTSD issues find peace in music, by providing instruction, an instrument to practice with and a brand new guitar open graduation in 10 weeks. |
