Pianist / Accompanist
A native of northeastern Pennsylvania, Ken completed his undergraduate studies at Mansfield University and started his career as a music educator in the Port Allegany School District (Pennsylvania). During his 35-year tenure, he directed the Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Show Choirs, and Junior High Chorus and taught General Music, Music Theatre Workshop, Voice Class, Piano Class, and Music Theory.
Ken is an active member of the National Association for Music Education and the American Choral Directors Association (where he has served on the Pennsylvania State Board and also as Northwest Region Chair). After retiring from teaching and relocating to Charleston, Ken continues to enjoy serving as a collaborative pianist / accompanist for numerous instrumentalists, vocalists, and
choral ensembles.
